SCOUT FOR HERMAN MILLER

brief

When Herman Miller launched their Resolve office system, they needed to place the product on the front burner of their worldwide sales force as well as the architecture/design community. They wanted to communicate Resolve’s overall brand strategy, and establish themselves as a future-forward company that uses interactive media to help inform customers about their products.

solution

Core77 created an extremely user-friendly, engaging and intriguing CD-ROM application, requiring no instruction manual and designed with a fun, game-like interface. From the start, an office planner can investigate hundreds of applicable furniture configurations by specifying a combination of desired effects. To appeal to the international audience, the tool runs in French, German, Italian, Spanish and English.

The application increased the client's sales by quickly educating a worldwide sales force and shortening the sales cycle. Its ease of use allowed for a simultaneous global rollout of the application, leading to an overwhelming response with immediate acceptance and use. The tool’s intuitive functionality saved thousands of dollars on training and support costs.
